What’s Behind a Name?

We often get that our name, No Place Like Home Health, is catchy and clever. Well, we have to say that was kind of the point. While it is a little long overall we decided that it was better to be long and catchy than have a boring name. We were able to shorten up our website and email addresses with NPLHH.com or info@nplhh.com which made things a little easier.

We are not a franchise, we are independently owned and operated as a small business. In case you did not know we are a veteran-owned business too. While we brainstormed for a name we wanted to be sure that we had one that would allow us to use in multiple locations (Livonia, Novi, Northville, Plymouth, etc…) as we grow. We decided on our name and logo at the same time. Without one, you cannot have the other. No Place Like Home Health had to incorporate in some way a house to imply our main area of operation, our client’s homes. Secondly, we wanted to make sure that we could relay our health image so we encompassed our name and roofline logo with a heart.

What we really like about our name, No Place Like Home Health, is that it is also a catchphrase. One that we truly believe in. More and more clients want to ensure that they are able to maintain a level of independence and what better way than in their own home. Healthcare at home is more convenient and often as effective as if in the hospital or a skilled facility. Besides everyone always says, “there’s no place like home.” So, for us there is No Place Like Home Health.
