Military Appreciation Weekend Event March 3rd and 4th 2023

The annual Military Appreciation Weekend sponsored by The Region 9 Veterans Community Action Team (R9VCAT) at USA Hockey Arena in Plymouth commenced in a blizzard on March 3, 2023. Many fans braved the dramatic weather to come out in support of our Veterans, their families, various companies, and organizations who serve their needs, and the awesome hockey stars. It was a 2-day event, with the second day being much better, weatherwise.
No Place Like Home Health was one of the vendors, representing the Veterans Resource Network of Southeast Michigan. Many new business contacts and friendships were formed over the course of the weekend. Other members of the Network in attendance were representatives from Parents Changing Spaces and Medical Care Alert.
It was an honor to be able to provide much-needed services to those who served our country. Plus, the excitement of the hockey game made this event memorable for all. Thank you, USA Hockey Arena and the National Development Program, for hosting a memorable Military Appreciation Weekend, we can’t wait to see everyone again next year!
